Diana Damrau in 'Nobel Prize Concert'

This year's Nobel Week will be just as glamorous as it should be! The award ceremony on December 10th comes home to the Stockholm Concert Hall, and another highlight is of course the Nobel Prize Concert on December 8, 2022. This year, German opera star Diana Damrau is a guest on opera stages such as the Vienna State Opera, the Metropolitan in New York and La Scala in Milan. With the Nobel Prize Concert, she is now finally making her debut in the Stockholm Concert Hall and singing Mozart arias, among other repertoire. Of course, Mozart and Viennese classicism are also a specialty for the Austrian conductor Manfred Honeck, who leads the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In recent years, Honeck has built a close relationship with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He is the conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, but also conducts many other of the world's most prestigious orchestras. He is for many in Sweden a well-known name after the years as chief conductor of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
