The program for Jonas Kaufmann's gala performance on August 20, 2023, has been announced by the Arena di Verona.
During the evening, Kaufmann will be joined by his frequent collaborators Sonya Yoncheva and Ludovic Tezier, with Jochen Rieder conducting.
The concert will feature excerpts from various renowned operas and musical pieces, including selections from Puccini's "Tosca," Verdi's "Otello," Giordano's "Andrea Chenier," Lehar's "Giuditta," Bizet's "Carmen," Leoncavallo's "Mattinata," Curtis' "Non ti scordar di me," Offenbach's "Les Contes d'Hoffmann," Lehar's "Das Land des Lächelns," Bernstein's "West Side Story," Morricone's "The Mission," and Zimmer's "Gladiator."

This gala marks Jonas Kaufmann's return to the Arena di Verona following his performance as Radamès in "Aida" in 2022.
