Karen reprises her critically acclaimed performance of this tragic love story in her debut with Opera Carolina. This hauntingly beautiful yet tragic love story features the enslaved Ethiopian Princess Aida, played by Karen Slack, and the Egyptian general Radames played by Gianluca Sciarpalletti, who sacrifices his life to preserve his honor and save the woman he loves. Other cast members include Mark Rucker in the role of Amonasro and Deborah Nansteel as Amneris, among others.
