Maestro Nicola Luisotti has made himself available to conduct the rehearsals starting next week and the performances of May 4, 7, 10, 12 and 14, while the last two performances of 19 and 22 May will be conducted by Maestro Giampaolo Bisanti. With Un ballo in maschera by Verdi achieves unprecedented emotional and sensual heights. The new production is the work of Marco Arturo Marelli in his directorial debut at Teatro alla Scala. The quality of the cast is fundamental to the success of this title: the protagonist is Francesco Meli, who adds another portrait to his gallery of Verdi roles at La Scala, paired with a much awaited Sondra Radvanovsky, and Luca Salsi, preeminent Verdi baritone.
