According to an official press statement, Opera Greenwich, a theater company based in Greenwich, aims to offer accessible and immersive productions to the local community. The decision to showcase "Suor Angelica" during Opera Week stems from the desire to introduce newcomers to the art form with a shorter opera, while also providing the opportunity to experience Puccini's lesser-known masterpiece.
