The Metropolitan Opera has revealed the individuals who will be part of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program for the 2023-24 season.
This year's lineup comprises several talented artists: Amanda Batista, a soprano; Le Bu, a bass-baritone; Matthew Cairns, a tenor; Maire Therese Carmack, a mezzo-soprano; Eleomar Cuello, a baritone; Juliana Grigoryan, a soprano; Elmina Hasan, a mezzo-soprano; Magdalena Kuźma, a soprano; Juan José Lázaro, a coach/pianist; Brittany Olivia Logan, a soprano; Daniel O'Hearn, a tenor; Jonghyun Park, a tenor; Daniel Rich, a baritone; Deborah Robertson, a coach/pianist; and Bin Yu Sanford, a coach/pianist.
Established in 1980, The Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artist Development Program aims to identify and nurture exceptionally gifted young talents in the field of opera. This initiative has successfully trained a new generation of renowned opera singers, coaches, and pianists from both the United States and around the world.
Previous participants in the program have included acclaimed figures such as Christine Goerke, Paul Appley, Charles Castronovo, Sondra Radvanovsky, Stephanie Blythe, John Osborn, Atalla Ayan, and Rihab Chaieb.
